Market Rules

On May 18, 2022, Sweden officially applied for membership in the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), a reversion of a long-lasting landmark strategic-military position. Despite fulfilling many objective conditions to join the organization, the country may face resistance from other members of the alliance, such as Turkey and Hungary, in an adhesion process that must be conducted unanimously.

If Sweden gets officially accepted as a member of NATO by December 31st, 2022, this market will resolve to “Yes”.
