What will be the American basic interest rate at the end of 2023?
Market Rules
This market will be resolved according to the target goal for the United States basic interest rate, as determined by the Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC).
Taking into account that the FED normally determines a target range for the basic interest rate (4.25%-4.50%, for example) rather than a single target value, this market will be resolved based on the lowest value in the target range at the end of the year. For example: if the target range at the end of the year is 4.50%-4.75%, this winning outcome of this market will be "4.0% to 4.5%", and not "4.6% to 5.0%".
FOMC's last ordinary meeting of the year is set to take place on December 13 and 14, but additional emergency meetings may be held between that date and December 31. Therefore, Futuur will close this market for bets on December 13 but will wait until December 31 to resolve it, to account for any eventual changes that might occur during such additional meetings.
