These bans were upheld even after a pact between Venezuela's ruling government and the opposition was signed to ensure a presidential election in the latter half of 2024.

This prediction market aims to ascertain if the prohibition preventing Maria Corina Machado from contesting in the Venezuelan presidential elections slated for 2024 will be lifted, and will resolve to 'Yes' if:

  1. Official sources from the Venezuelan government or its electoral body publicly announce or confirm that the prohibition preventing Maria Corina Machado from running for the 2024 presidential elections has been lifted in time for her to take part in the 2024 presidential elections.
  2. Legislation, decrees, or legal documents are publicly released that confirm the removal of the prohibition against Maria Corina Machado's candidacy for the 2024 presidential elections.

If those conditions are not met, the market will resolve to "No".

If the next Presidential elections in Venezuela are either canceled or postponed to a date beyond December 2024, this market will be canceled and all active wagers will be returned to their respective forecasters at their original value.
