SpaceX to spin off Starlink in 2024?

Market Rules

Technology analyst firm CCS Insight published in its 2023 annual report that SpaceX might spin off Starlink —which currently works as a technical division of SpaceX —and promote an initial public offering of Starlink by 2025. According to the analyst firm, the move would be driven by the demand for massive funding to expand the satellite broadband business.

If by December 31, 2024. SpaceX announces —be it in a statement from Elon Musk or through a company's spokesperson —that it will spin off Starlink this market will resolve to “Yes”, even if the separation only takes place after the end of the year.
