Who will win the presidential election in Honduras?

Market Rules

This market will resolve based on the official winner of the Honduran presidential election scheduled for November 30, 2025 (the “Election”). The Primary Designated Source (PDS) will be the Supreme Electoral Tribunal of Honduras (Tribunal Supremo Electoral de Honduras, TSE), including its website (tse.hn), official bulletins, certified actas, and formal announcements declaring the candidate who is legally recognized as the president-elect. The market will resolve to the candidate formally proclaimed as the winner by the TSE. If, for any reason, the TSE postpones, annuls, or re-runs the election, the market will resolve according to the final, official winner of the valid presidential election corresponding to the 2025 cycle.

If TSE data is unavailable, ambiguous, or significantly delayed, a Secondary Confirmation Mechanism (SCM) will be used. This consists of reports from reputable, editorially independent news organizations chosen at Futuur’s discretion regarding which candidate has been officially declared the winner. Futuur will resolve the market based on the substantive winner of the election, not on minor technicalities or presentational inconsistencies in reporting. If neither the PDS nor the SCM can determine a winner, Futuur may cancel the market under its Market Cancellation Clause.
