Market Rules

This event predicts whether Lisa D. Cook will cease to hold office as a Member of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System at any time between January 1, 2026 and December 31, 2026 (inclusive). The Primary Designated Source (PDS) will be official Federal Reserve Board materials confirming the status of Board members, including official bios and press releases.

If Lisa Cook formally leaves the office of Federal Reserve governor during this period, this market will resolve to "Yes". Otherwise, it will resolve to "No". If she resigns, is removed, or her term otherwise ends during the period, the market will resolve to "Yes" at the moment of official confirmation. If official Federal Reserve materials are unclear or delayed, the Secondary Confirmation Mechanism (SCM) will rely on consistent reporting from major financial news organizations. Resolution will reflect substantive cessation of officeholding, not temporary absences. If a definitive determination cannot be made, Futuur may cancel this market with a public explanation.
