After earlier delays, the first round of Haiti’s 2026 legislative and presidential elections is currently scheduled for December 13, 2026. The market in this event resolves according to whether that first round is delayed again, based on official information from the Haitian government, with a consensus of credible reporting as a secondary confirmation.

FULL DETAILS

If the first round of voting for the presidency or the national legislative bodies of Haiti — including the Senate (Sénat) and the Chamber of Deputies (Chambre des Députés) — currently scheduled for December 13, 2026, is rescheduled to take place after December 13, 2026, or otherwise does not take place by December 13, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to "Yes". If the first round takes place by that time, it will resolve to "No".

The Primary Designated Source is official information from the Haitian government; a consensus of credible reporting may also be used to confirm the outcome.The market may resolve to "Yes" as soon as an official rescheduling of the first round to a date after December 13, 2026 is confirmed; once the condition is first met, resolution is final and irrevocable, regardless of subsequent announcements.
