Will the global temperature of September 2021 be higher than the temperature observed in September 2020?

Market Rules

According to the US Environmental Information Centers of Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's (NOAA), July 2021 was the warmest month ever in the world since it began recording global temperature 142 years ago. This "milestone" is yet another alarm of the climate crisis arising from human activity, and raises questions about the measurements for the coming months.

If the rise in the world's global temperature - i.e. the combination of both land surface and oceans temperatures - for the month of September 2021 is greater than +0.94°C (the recorded rise for September 2020), this market will resolve to “Yes”.

This market will be resolved based on the data made available at https://www.ncdc.noaa.gov/cag/global/time-series/globe/land_ocean/1/9/2016-2021
