How much jail time will Sam Bankman-Fried (SBF) be sentenced to if he is convicted in the FTX trial?

Market Rules

Cryptocurrency exchange FTX collapsed in the first days of November 2022, after the disclosure that part of the company’s fund Alameda Research’s equity was backed in tokens issued by the company itself. Despite having made public statements about the solidity of FTX's assets and having pleaded not guilty, the company’s chief-executive Sam Bankman-Fried filed for bankruptcy, was arrested, and might face up to 115 years in prison if found guilty of all 8 criminal charges put against him by the US justice system.

This market will resolve in favor of the alternative whose range of values contains the amount of time SBF is sentenced to serve in prison if found guilty of any of the criminal charges brought against him on the trial related to the FTX fraud scheme.

If SBF's trial does not come to an end by the deadline for bets in this market, Futuur may decide to adjust the deadline for bets to reflect the progress of the trial.

This market will not be reviewed if the sentence is amended after its initial publication, nor if the actual time served by SBF is modified for any reason such as good behavior. It is also irrelevant to this market whether SBF serves his time in prison or home arrest.
