Will NATO admit Argentina as a global partner in 2026?
Market Rules
This event predicts whether the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) will formally admit Argentina as a “global partner” at any time between January 1, 2026 and December 31, 2026 (inclusive). For this market, admission as a global partner means formal inclusion under NATO’s partnership frameworks. The Primary Designated Source (PDS) will be official NATO announcements or communiqués confirming Argentina’s admission.
If NATO formally announces that Argentina has been admitted as a global partner during this period, this market will resolve to "Yes". Otherwise, it will resolve to "No". Expressions of interest or informal cooperation without formal admission will not count. If official NATO communications are ambiguous, the Secondary Confirmation Mechanism (SCM) will rely on consistent reporting from major international news organizations. Resolution will reflect the substantive admission decision, not preliminary discussions. If a definitive determination cannot be made, Futuur may cancel this market with a public explanation.
