Winner of the Michigan Democratic Senate primary
Market Rules
This set of markets predicts the winner of the Democratic primary for United States Senator from Michigan, scheduled for August 4, 2026. Each of the markets below covers one candidate certified for the primary ballot; exactly one will resolve to "Yes". A market resolves to "Yes" if its candidate is officially declared the winner of the primary. If the winner is not one of the candidates listed below, all listed markets resolve to "No".
A market resolves to "No" if its candidate is not the certified winner, including in cases of withdrawal, disqualification, death before the primary, or defeat. Candidates who have suspended their campaigns but remain on the primary ballot can still win if officially declared the winner. If the primary is postponed, resolution follows the rescheduled primary, provided it is concluded in time for the election of November 2026; otherwise, all listed markets resolve to "No". In contested or recount scenarios, resolution follows the official certification of results.
The Primary Designated Source is the official results published by the Michigan Department of State (Bureau of Elections). A consensus of credible reporting by news outlets may be used to confirm the outcome ahead of formal certification, honoring the spirit of the market.
