Will the Siberian town of Verkhoiansk register 40ºC or more someday in the second half of 2020?

Market Rules

Siberia is known as one of the coldest regions of Earth. During summer, the town of Verkhoiansk usually registers temperatures that are close to 20ºC, but on June 20th, 2020, the temperature reached 38ºC. Besides being inconvenient for cold-adapted citizens and animals, the heatwave promotes the melting of Permafrost (a type of soil that normally remains frozen for two or more years, located on land or under the ocean) and feeds wildfires.

According to data from Copernicus (the European Union Observatory) and NASA, researchers suggest that the average temperatures in Siberia from December to May were the warmest on record, going back to 1880.

If the town of Verkhoiansk registers 40ºC or more on any day of 2020's second semester, this question will be resolved as "Yes". Futuur will resolve this question based on data from either Weather.com, Copernicus, or NASA.
