Will Renan Bolsonaro be charged for influence peddling by the end of 2023?
Market Rules
In 2021, Brazil's Federal Police opened an investigation to look into suspicions of influence peddling involving Jair Renan Bolsonaro, President Jair Bolsonaro's youngest son. The case started to be investigated by the Attorney's Office of the Republic of the Federal District (PR-DF), following a request that had been made by opposition parliamentarians. The suspicion is that Renan might have acted to set up meetings and open doors inside the federal government for private companies that had connections with him.
If Renan Bolsonaro is formally indicted for alleged influence-peddling by December 31, 2023, this market will resolve to "Yes".
