Atmospheric nitrous oxide concentrations to grow in 2023?
Market Rules
The World Meteorological Organization annually publishes a report tracking the release of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere. According to the report published in November 2023, in the year 2022 there was an increase in the levels of nitrous oxide, a gas that contributes to the intensification of the studied effect. In 2021 there were 334.5 parts per billion of gas, while in 2022 the average was 335.8±0.1parts per billion.
If the data in the next report from the World Meteorological Organization about the release of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere (expected to be published in the second half of 2024) shows that nitrous oxide gas levels in the atmosphere in 2023 were higher than 335.8 parts per billion, this market will resolve to “Yes”.
